This modality is put into action when one or more managers of the same company ask to be agents of change within their organization.
In the case of a manager who seeks help to become the problem solver of his company, the strategic consultant will guide them along a path that allows them to solve the problems and in parallel learn the model of strategic intervention. In order for them to obtain both the solutions to the current problems and to learn the approach, they will simultaneously receive advice and training. In the future, this will be useful to them to avoid falling into the same traps and to provide them the know how to face various problems from a strategic point of view. Basically, it is an active method of training that instead of sitting in a classroom and passively receiving information, it fosters an active experience with real problems. Using the model, the consultant guides the participants in constructing solutions for their specific problems, so that they “learn first hand” and can transfer their knowledge to the working situations.
In the situation where the manager seeks help to enhance his own performance or to solve a recurring problem at the work place, the strategic consultant will accompany the manager along a path to discovery of the strategic model and exploration of his own limitations and how to work strategically on these limitations (exploration of the potential incapacity: strategic, action, constancy?, managerial, incapacity of the senses and knowing when to react, or to not react),. A top manager can be compared to a high-level sportsman. When the full potential and the capacity has been developed, the only way to further progress is to work on the weak points.
